Here are links to the works and blogs of some writer friends of mine. If you like Appetites, you might also enjoy their works.
Michael Clarke, UK urban fiction writer with a deceptively simple story-stelling style, you can read Arbitration on Authonomy, or see his blog here. Mel Comley, a lovely lady who's thriller Impeding Justice got a great review from Harper Collins on Authonomy. You can get a teaser of it here. Jared Conway, in a previous life had a job he's not allowed to talk about, where he came into daily contact with major criminals, drug dealers, and smack-heads: he writes crime fiction with a raw edge. Take a look at Mummy's Boy on Authonomy. Louise Galvin,an exiled Lancastrian living in southwest France, her novel, Souvenirs, details a broken man's journey through the wreckage of post-WW1 France, you can visit Lou's blog here. Daisy Anne Gree, an Anglo-American, writer, photographer and video artist. You can read The Dead Beat and Babylon on Authonomy, or check out her blog here. Freddie Omm's controversial, topical thriller Honour is shot through with shafts of black comedy. This is a work that will make you think. Alexandra Riley, a young lady to watch. Her Victoria Sponge introduced me to steam-punk, and the girl can write. Diana Robinson, you can read Daisy Chains of Silence--one of the most moving stories you're ever likely to come across--on Authonomy or check out her silentnovelist blog here. Marion Stein, was the first to point out to me that I'd started my story in the wrong place. Check out her fine blog--here--where you'll find a link to Loisada, a gritty New York story, told from multiple viewpoints, woven around a brutal crime. The author known as Poppet, you can check out her dark, sexy world here. Or if you like your erotica on the wild side--MM bondage--then visit Sessha Batto's page. |
